What's your opinion on this clown?
Clown indeed.

A few of his lines are pretty tight, but then again *anyone* can write a few good lines. That fucking 'i love college' bullshit pisses me off. We'd all like to stay in college forever (or even go to college), but we don't all have trust funds. What's that? Daddy bought you an MPC and a Neve desk? How nice for you. Prick.

What's even worse is that my girlfriend thinks he's hot and loves that song. Still, if I ever met him it would give me a (semi) legitimate reason for smashing him in.
Oh yeah, and that I Love College single? Didn't even come out on 12". That's how street he is.
^ ^ Good explanations man.
Oh.. I just saw an ad for this guy on songza.com
gonna give him a try..
I don't think it comes down to how street he is. He's making music which coincidentally is something he likes to do. If you took a second to actually listen to something other than 'I Love College' he can rap intelligently. Asleep In The Bread Aisle isn't a bad album by far, sure there are more "club" type songs on it, but songs like Sour Patch Kids (which is about poverty in America) really show how skilled he can be, it just comes down to him showing that on more songs.

I think hes trying to build up a fan base first and hopefully his rhymes will develop into the more conscious hip-hop that he obviously can produce.

I don't think it's fair to judge him based on one song or the fact that he went to college. No disrespect PapaJ, but it really makes you sound a bit haterific or even bitter.
He's garbage.  Just listen to his freestyles (enough said).  Listening to him is futile (why? because he allegedly raps "intelligently", which he does not.  Go listen to some Apathy or Aesop then, in terms of white intellectual rappers), even though I do respect him for saying, that 3 Stacks is the G.O.A.T.
The reason why I do not listen to him is because I don't think he takes hip-hop/rap seriously.  He is like this artist named "Macklemore", who decided to rap in order to warn people about the dangers of the genre.  A good idea, right? Wrong! I'm waiting for Ice Cube to (lol ELDRIGE!) cleaver his ass (lyrically or literally, I don't give a fuck).
First time  I heard this cat it was a 'freestyle' that in my opinion was pretty raw..then he came with weak shit like I love College and I lost all hope in him.
Yeah, I heard some more of his freestyles and some aren't bad (not bad at all).  I got the wrong impression from two rap/hip-hop online entities that featured two different wick-wick-wack exclusive freestyles from him, so I retract some of that premise.
